A beloved Jacksonville Beach holiday tradition is returning this year, bringing with it more than 60 decorated lifeguard chairs and festive activities.

Deck the Chairs, a popular lifeguard chair decorating competition, will be held from December 1-31. The event is free to attend and open to the public.

This year's theme is "Holidays Around the World." Participants are encouraged to decorate their chairs in a way that reflects the holiday traditions of different cultures.

In addition to the chair decorating competition, there will be a variety of family-friendly activities, including live music, food vendors, and a holiday market.
